gpoy…bridal portrait edition.

Unfortch I missed Wednesday for GPOYW, but courtesy of Chris Lacroix I’ve got some bridal portraits and a few rehearsal photos up.  This marks the last of the wedding-related photos, for real this time!  END TRANSMISSION.

gpoyw: wedding edition.

October 17th was my wedding day.

Since then I’ve collected photos from myself, my friends, and my parents’ friends, and this week received the professional photos from Chris Lacroix.  I’ve compiled them into a catch-all Flickr album including his photos as well as some of my favorites that other people took.  Make some tea and brace yourself, for in the grand tradition of compulsive documentation there are over a thousand photos.  I think they really show what a beautiful evening it was, and help to explain why people are still coming up to me saying things like “Most beautiful ceremony I’ve ever seen,” “Best dance mix I’ve ever heard,” “BEST. WEDDING.  EVERRRRRRRR!” and “Dude I was out of commission the next day.”  Enjoy!

Note: If you want to purchase prints of any of the professional photos, do it through Chris Lacroix’ site and use the discount code “thebyrd10.”

gpoyw: gown – check, wine – check

Alright Kenny and Phil, I’ve gotten on the GPOYW train.  This week it’s necessary, as I’ve completed my first ever dress made from a pattern.  The problem with this dress is that someone has to be available for buttoning / unbuttoning in order for me to (1) get into it and (2) get out of it.  This complicates things.  Still, I think it’s a good solid effort for my first go-round.

Also, the other night we tasted some potential wedding wines with Chris and Emily, courtesy of Kendra at Ipanema.  We picked a good one, after much deliberation.

Today it was 70 degrees.

This week is great.
